What is the difference between micro-concrete and concrete?
Classic concrete is a poured mass throughout its volume, heavy and prone to cracking in thin profiles. Micro-concrete, on the other hand, is applied in thin, manual layers to a solid, lightweight core. The result looks and feels like stone, but weighs a fraction of solid concrete.
Why is it 70% lighter?
Because the lightweight core plays the supporting role, and the concrete only forms the surface. This makes a micro-concrete piece 70% lighter than a solid concrete piece of the same size, while still retaining the same matte, mineral character.
What does this mean in practice?
You can easily move the furniture yourself. Wall-mounted (floating) tables can carry the stone look even on a wall. Floors and shelves do not bear unnecessary weight. In addition, two layers of stain-resistant impregnation and handmade production, where no two pieces are the same.
